CBP Opts for Commdex to Provide Vital Communication Equipment Upgrades
Atlanta, Ga, November 19th, 2019 – The United States Customs and Border Protection (CBP) has chosen Commdex to provide GPS network equipment upgrades for their San Diego Office of Border Patrol Sector. This contract award marks the third time CBP has selection Commdex this year and helps strengthen the trust the CBP has in Commdex to deliver our “Gold Standard” for services.
The purpose of this upgrade is to provide precision timing and frequency references for the Integrated Wireless Network (IWN) sites used by CBP in the San Diego Sector. These units are outfitted with GPS antenna kits, oscillator/low-phase-noise output modules, Telecom Clock Output Modules capable of 64k output, and alarming interfaces. The equipment upgrade will provide the CBP with industry-leading time accuracy and frequency accuracy to ensure a reliable and precise wireless communication network for agents within the San Diego Sector.
