Commdex Selected by Smartronix for Navy Networking Infrastructure Contract
Norcross, GA, October 6th, 2014 – Commdex has been awarded a major contract by Smartronix, Inc. to provide engineering and technical related services for a naval facility infrastructure upgrade at the National Region Southwest (NRSW) location in San Diego, California. This latest award further distinguishes Commdex as a premiere provider of communications engineering solutions in the federal government space.
Commdex’ work will support the Navy Region Southwest (NRSW) by performing surveys to document existing fiber infrastructure throughout 19 different facilities throughout the region. These documentation packages will provide updated information on all cabling infrastructure as part of ongoing modernization efforts throughout NRSW. Commdex will provide work through an ongoing contract with the Naval Air Warfare Center – Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) Special Communications Requirements Division, which provides integrated engineering & sustainment services through project lifecycle of electronic and communications systems, subsystems, and equipment used by Navy, Army, Air Force, Joint Special Operations Forces (SOF), and other DoD or Government agencies.
