Commdex Selected to Implement New Public Safety Radio System for Four Georgia Cities
Norcross, GA, June 26th, 2013 – Commdex, a systems integration and engineering expert, has been selected to manage the implementation of a new public radio system for four prominent cities in the state of Georgia. The four North Fulton cities, which are Alpharetta, Milton, Roswell, and Sandy Springs, have joined together to improve public safety communications within their jurisdictions. As an experienced project management firm, Commdex will work with the Cities’ to implement a new system that is fully functional quickly, avoiding interruption to current operations and public safety users.
Over the past year, Commdex has provided technical consultation and interoperability planning for the Cities’ to ensure that their new system would be designed with the capacity to support daily communications, as well as, emergency situations. In the implementation phase, Commdex will be responsible for the development and construction of the unified radio system to guarantee that the Cities’ get maximum return on investment through a system that meets their current and future needs. The end result will be a sophisticated radio system with advanced communications capabilities to support public safety users, making them more efficient and responsive for years to come.
