Commdex to present three expert sessions at Wireless Expo (IWCE)

Commdex has been selected by the International Wireless Communications Expo (IWCE) to present three expert sessions to the attendees of the annual conference. On Monday, March 30th, from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM, Mr. Ryan Poltermann of Commdex in the session entitled “Changing Face of LMR – Managing Your Legacy Networks,” will present the findings of the two-year research project on wireless communications. Ryan Poltermann serves as vice-chair of the LMR LTE Integration and Interoperability Working Group for the National Public Safety Telecommunications Council (NPSTC) and is a leading LMR and MCPTT subject matter, expert.

From Monday, March 30th to Thursday, April 2nd, Mike Barton from Commdex will conduct “Communications Site Installer (R56) Training”, a multi-day course teaching attendees how to apply principles of basic electronics to the installation standards found in the R56 manual. The course will outline best practices in external and internal ground system installation equipment, cables, and documentation for a reliable communication system installation. Mike Barton is a Senior Engineer with Commdex and is the Senior R56 Auditor (CSII) and has conducted Site Inspection audits and provided technical support throughout North America.

Also, on Monday, March 30th, from 8:30 AM to 11:30 AM, Chuck Bethea from Commdex will present on the applications of Artificial Intelligence for public safety in the session titled “The Evolution of 911 Architecture: From Legacy 911 to the Cloud to NG911.” Mr. Bethea is the Vice President of Intelligent Solutions and leads the Automation and Artificial Intelligence practice at Commdex.
