FBI Selects Commdex for Five Year ACRx Services Contract

Atlanta, GA, August 13th, 2020 – The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) awarded Commdex a Multiple-Award, Indefinite-Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) contract for Adaptive Central Receive Systems (ACRx) Service, supporting the FBI and other Department of Justice (DOJ) law enforcement agencies. Commdex’s award further advances the organization’s strategy to expand its communications solutions for a wide variety of applications throughout the Department and its Components.  The ACRx Service contract has a three million dollar ceiling over the next 5 years.

The ACRx System is a video collection, transport, and centralized receive system designed to utilize the latest radio technologies and techniques to improve frequency utilization. These systems are used to maximize coverage area and support a scalable number of subscribers for the FBI and DOJ law enforcement agencies to enhance interoperability.

The purpose of the ACRx Service IDIQ is to establish a flexible contract vehicle for approved FBI and DOJ law enforcement agencies to procure ACRx system installation services to properly hang, secure, ground and peak Government provided antennas at various tower and roof top locations throughout the United States and its territories. Commdex can offer its innovative solutions to these agencies over a period of performance that could extend into 2024.
