Chuck Bethea
Vice President
Chuck Bethea is the Vice President of Capture at Commdex. He is currently responsible for the company’s revenue generation efforts through the development of strategic plans to nurture new and existing business relationships, and identify new sales channels and markets within commercial, federal, state, and local segments. In this critical role, Chuck manages the origination and execution of proposals and contracts ensuring full compliance with all procurement regulations, and the negotiation of contract terms and conditions. Among his many leadership duties, he is also focused on operational planning, reporting and the optimal deployment of all engineering operations for Commdex, including pre-sales design support and system deployment functions.
Prior to moving into his current role, Chuck served as Vice President of Operations for Commdex, where he managed all company operations including engineering, project management and construction. He was responsible for managing department budget and resource assignments. Chuck also worked closely with the sales team to develop strategy and customer solutions.
Before joining Commdex, Chuck served as an active duty member in the United States Air Force, specializing in aircraft guidance and communications systems. Upon leaving the US Air Force, he began work in mission critical communications with Motorola as an engineer. During his 10-year tenure with Motorola, he served as a subject matter expert for Project25 and IP networking systems, and moved into program management within the Strategic Projects team.
Chuck holds a BSEE from Clemson University, and is a Six Sigma Green Belt.
